July Lunch: Sirloin and Summer Vegetables

July has begun, and the rain continues. Soon, though, summer and its bright sunshine will be with us. In anticipation of those glimmering and warm days, we crafted our special meals for July.

Sirloin and Roasted Summer Vegetables with Sauce Raifort
1,000 yen including tax

Tomato boiled with summer vegetables adds color to pieces of thickly cut, roasted sirloin for a gorgeous dish that epitomizes summer. Please enjoy with our Sauce Raifort, a mix of horseradish and heavy whipping cream, and our original fond de veau. Its rich flavor beautifully balances the zip of the horseradish. Served soup, salad, and bread or rice.

Linguini with Shrimp, Soramame and Zucchini
1,000 yen including tax

Smooth, al dente linguini pairs well with the salty flavor of pecorino cheese and a garlicky sauce. Tender bites of zucchini, soramame (broad beans), and shrimp make for tasty morsels throughout. Served with soup and salad.

Although, Takimoto Inn’s Restaurant Poplar is open for lunch, starting in July, the restaurant will be closed for lunch every Monday. Other than Mondays, we will be open as usual. We are grateful for your continued patronage and look forward to seeing you here soon!
