All you need to do is walk in the door for ‘Day Visitors’, and you’ll be on your way to a day in heaven.
Relax, sooth and heal body and soul in our unique Hot Springs Heaven.
At the heart of any trip to Noboribetsu-Onsen is a relaxing time in Dai-ichi Takimotokan Onsen Heaven overlooking Hell Valley. Over 2 million litres of geothermal water from 5 different springs flows through our 30 baths each day, providing a constant stream that is continually refreshing every bath. Little wonder that with 5000 square metres of space(more than an acre), Dai-ichi Takimotokan is the single largest onsen bathhouse in Hokkaido, and probably all of Japan.
The feel of your skin after a relaxing soak is heavenly. Add in the beautiful panorama of green hills and steam of Hell Valley and you’ll feel truly refreshed — body and soul. In addition to the different mineral compositions to choose from, each of the spa baths is made of different materials including Japanese cypress, marble, granite and tile, each imparting a subtle difference to your onsen experience.
Soak in the wonders of Onsen Heaven.
Onsen Heaven is open 24 hours a day for hotel guests, and unlimited entry is included in the price of your stay. In Onsen Heaven you’ll find toiletries, towels for drying and a drop basket for when you are finished. Come in your yukata — all you need to bring is the personal towel you’ll find in your room.
To help you cool off afterwards, in Onsen Heaven you will also find a bar serving beer and sake, and various non-alcoholic drink machines. Or enjoy a drink whilst enjoying the view in the outside bath.
